Triangle shaped semi precious purple gemstone Tiffany Stone designer cabochon 42.5 mm by 15 mm and 5 mm thick.
This unique purple semi precious gemstone cabochon material is known as Tiffany Stone. It is also called Bertrandite and is actually an opalized Fluorite, or an Opalite.
It is found in only one place in the world, at the Brush Wellman Beryllium Mine near Delta, in Western Utah.
Tiffany Stone designer cabochons have a hardnes of 5-6, but as with all Opalites, it can have healed fracture lines.
