These stone cabochons for jewelry making weigh about 18 carats each.
This gorgeous semi precious gemstone material is known as Sonora Sunset or Sonora Sunrise. The mostly solid red stone cabochons are sometimes called Crimson Cuprite.
The blue/green is Chrysocolla, the red is Cuprite, and the black is Iron Oxide.
This Chrysocolla Cuprite is from the Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Santa Cruz Municipality, in Sonora, Mexico.
