Lodolite Quartz cabochons have amazing 3D garden scenes.
Quartz grows in many environments along with many different minerals. These minerals, as well as watery solutions and gas bubbles, can be enclosed by the growing crystal.
Some of these inclusions are minerals including Chlorite, Iron Oxide, Rutile, Goethite, and Hematite.
Lodolite is the trade name for quartz with mineral inclusions of Chlorite. According to the type of Chlorite, these very attractive inclusions appear in various colors like green, brown, orange, white, pink, or purple.
In addition to Lodolite, these semiprecious stone cabochons are also called Lodalite, Garden Quartz, Scenic Quartz, and Landscape Quartz to name just a few.
The gorgeous cabochons cut from this material have 3 dimensional garden, landscape or underwater scenes.
We did not cut these ourselves, they come from and are cut in Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Lodolite Quartz cabochons have a hardness of 7 and wear very well.
