This lovely extra large oval shaped semiprecious gemstone Labradorite designer collector cabochon is 75 mm (3 inches!) by 40 mm and 5 mm thick.
The whole face of this stone has a bright orangey yellow (or brassy?) flash!
Semiprecious stone Labradorite cabochons have a background color of dark gray, but they display a beautiful iridescence of rainbow-colored reflections, known as labradorescence, when light hits it in certain directions.
Labradorite is named after where it was first found; Labrador, Canada, although our gemstone cabochon material comes from Madagascar.
Metaphysical Properties: Labradorite cabochons are said to assist the wearer to handle changes, promoting strength and perseverance.
