This Drusy or Druse Agate bead pendant is drilled with a 3 mm hole near the top for hanging on your cord or wire, or adding into your bead creation!
This lovely focal point bead pendant is 46 mm long by 11 mm wide and about 12 mm thick.
A layer of very fine crystals formed on a semi precious gemstone chalcedony, is known as "Druse" "Drusy" or "Druzy".
Many agates are hollow, and in such cases the center often consists of quartz crystals growing towards the free space, forming a crystal-lined cavity, or geode. These layers can also form in "vugs" or open pockets left when rock was forming.
Drusy Agate or Druse Agate has a hardness of about 7 on the Moh's scale and wears very well as a drilled stone bead pendant.
