Trapezoid shaped rust orange with small flecks of sparkling natural native copper semi precious gemstone Copper Rose designer cabochon 24 mm by 5 to 11.5 mm at its widest and 4 mm thick.
These weigh approximately 13 carats each.
A RARE semi precious gemstone cabochon material! We call it Copper Rose, but it is also known as Kingston Conglomerate or Kingston Ore.
This variety has a green Epidote matrix with tiny specks shiny Native Copper, came from the Calumet & Hecla Mine in Houghton County, Michigan.
The little black spots are the Felsite pebbles. Felsite is a very fine grained volcanic rock containing feldspar and quartz.
The camera dulls the shiny copper reflection in these cabochons-but it is very visible to the naked eye!
Metaphysical Properties: It is believed Native Copper helps with communication.
