Product Description
Trapezoid shaped red with native copper semiprecious gemstone Copper Rose designer cabochon 37 mm long by 13 to 23 mm and 5 mm thick.
A RARE stone cabochon material! We call it Copper Rose, but it is also known as Kingston Conglomerate or Kingston Ore.
This lovely brick orangey red colored semiprecious gemstone, with splashes of shiny Native Copper, came from the Calumet & Hecla Mine in Houghton County, Michigan.
The camera dulls the shiny copper reflection in these cabochons-but it is very visible to the naked eye!
The little black spots are the Felsite pebbles. Felsite is a very fine grained volcanic rock containing feldspar and quartz.
Metaphysical Properties: It is believed Native Copper helps with communication.
